Discover new confidence
Thank you for your interest in HSBC. Applications for 2013 are now closed.
If you secure a place on one of our graduate programmes, it's because we've identified you as a potential leader within our business. So we'll do everything we can to support, encourage and facilitate your ongoing personal and professional development from day one.
No two programmes are the same, so the structure that your development takes will vary. In fact, you'll see that the range of development and networking opportunities we offer are as diverse as our people. With the support of a dedicated Graduate Development Manager, as well as your own buddy or mentor to offer informal advice, you'll learn through a variety of placements and project work. You'll also be able to access technical and professional learning and development opportunities either face-to-face or online, through coaching, or by studying - whichever works best for you. However you do it, you'll discover a wealth of new skills and knowledge.
National Graduate Conference
Perhaps the biggest single networking and development event on our calendar is the annual National Graduate Conference. Our 2012 event was attended by current Graduates, new recruits, Regional and Departmental Managers, and senior managers. As well as hearing messages from the senior leadership team, delegates were able to network with people from different programmes and a series of seminar sessions.
This year's Conference was designed to explore the world of opportunities available at HSBC. The varied agenda aimed to open up the spectrum of possibilities, and equip delegates with the tools to maximise their potential impact - from sessions on HSBC values and branding, through to the future of banking and career planning.
