During 2011 we worked with the Financial Skills Partnership and other companies to make available a consistent work experience programme for 14-18 year olds. In today's highly competitive market, we believe that it's important for you to experience what financial services is all about before you decide to apply for a job.
That's why we've put together a structured one-week work experience programme for each of our major business areas. It's designed to offer an early opportunity for you to find out more about the type of work we do and the career opportunities that are available.

This is a one-week structured programme for people aged 14-18 who want to find out what financial services is all about. You'll experience what it's like to work in one of our retail, commercial, operational or head office areas (subject to availability). But remember, places are limited so you'll need to apply quickly and be prepared to pass a few tests. Applications open for the HSBC Work Experience Programme on January 16th and close on January 29th.
